Alan Whited
Alan Whited is the owner and head instructor at Alpha Jiu Jitsu Academy. He is a second-degree black belt and has been studying Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, with a focus on Helio Gracie philosophies, since 1997. Alan is also an NRA Certified Pistol Instructor.
Brent Jackson
Brent Jackson is a Black Belt under Alan Whited at Alpha Jiu-Jitsu Academy. He started training at the Academy in 2005 when he moved from Nashville to Cookeville to attend Tennessee Technological University (TTU). Brent has fought as an amateur in Mixed Martial Arts with a 6-0 record. Along with Jiu-Jitsu Brent has trained in Judo and Boxing. He currently teaches the fundamentals class at Alpha Jiu-Jitsu Academy. Brent has his Bachelor’s degree from TTU in Foods, Nutrition and Dietetics and now resides in Cookeville, TN with his wife.
